Took some time off

I haven't kept a food diary over Christmas as I had Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day off plan. We've been out for dinner today at my mother in laws and I forgot to take photos so I'm going to start keeping my diary again from tomorrow.

I can get totally back on plan in the morning and the only time I'll face a challenge is New Years Eve. We're having family round for a buffet but I get weighed the next morning so I'm confident I can stick to plan because I know I'll be getting weighed! None of the food will taste as good as standing on those scales and either staying the same or, fingers crossed, losing a pound or more, will make me feel.

I have five days to undo any damage I've done but I'm not going to worry about it though if I gain. I've enjoyed Christmas and I intend to enjoy Christmas every year in the future so as long as I limit myself to a few days and not the whole of December I'll be able to manage my weight every year at this time :)

I'm going to re-read my book today seeing as they've brought out new ones. I'll see what's changed and treat tomorrow as a new start.

Weekly weigh in - I did it!!

I've had an excellent week :D

I went to our family Christmas party on Sunday at my mother in law's house and had some lovely food and an even nicer glass of Baileys! I didn't go crazy but I did have more syns than on a normal day.
I reduced my syns each day before and after the party and it worked because I lost 3lb this week :)

It was our groups Christmas party today so everyone was in high spirits and I got cheers when I was awarded slimmer of the week, my 3 stone award and my club 10 award :D

I'd wanted to lose 3 stone before Christmas and get my club 10 award so I'm extra specially pleased to have achieved my goals today :D
My next weigh in is on Sunday as it's been moved from Boxing day, then no weigh in until January 2nd.
I'm confident I'm not going to undo any of my hard work over Christmas but at the same time, I'm going to enjoy it and have a few treats!

December 16th Food Diary

Today I went to a family Christmas party. I didn't count all the syns because I didn't know what a lot of the food was. I filled my plate with free ham and turkey before adding a few other treats such as a mini pastie, a piece of quiche with pastry (I left the crust but ate the base) and some breaded chicken bites.

I had a glass of Bailey's with ice which I estimate to be around 70ml and a Cadbury's roses chocolate.

There are no syn values on this diary but I'll be back to counting the syns tomorrow :)

Weekly Weigh In - another loss :)

I lost 2lb this week which leaves me with 1lb to go for my 3 stone award and 2lb to go for my club 10 award. I'm going to do my very best to get both awards next week :)

I've got a family Christmas party on Sunday but I'm planning on taking homemade potato salad and staying away from non free foods.
I'll use my syns for the day on a glass of Baileys and a small dessert; I'm confident that the party won't have an effect on next weeks weigh in.

I'm going to plan all my food and syns for this week so that I can still enjoy some Christmas treats off the trolley but I want to try sticking to 15 syns a day instead of 20-25.
