Weekly weigh in - A well enjoyed, 1.5lb gain!!

Ant and I spent a wonderful weekend away, celebrating being together for 10 years. I decided not to count syns from dinner time Friday night until I got back on track Tuesday morning. I allowed myself to let go of the guilt when I had chips, onion rings, toffee ice cream, Costa fruit smoothie, rocky road ice cream sundae, Starbucks caramel coffee and the most delicious of all, cheese topped white bread with proper butter!!

I haven't felt guilty at all and was delighted to have only gained 1.5lbs this week. I'm totally back on track today and feel emotionally great :)
I say emotionally because physically, I'm not well. I couldn't stay to group because I woke with a migraine and have been feeling sick on and off all day. There were quite a few kids at group today as well with it being half term and I normally don't mind a bit but today I just couldn't cope with the noise. I've had 2 lots of painkillers and 2 strong coffees and it while it has stopped the constant pounding, it's still painful and has taken all my energy although I'm thankful that the nausea has just about gone.

No weekend food diary!

I spent the bank holiday weekend in Portsmouth with my super wonderful husband and we celebrated being together for 10 years.
I took photos of most of the food I ate but I didn't count syns and I enjoyed every meal and treat!
Here are the photos from some of the meals I had from Friday 24th to Monday 27th...I have no idea how weigh in is going to go tomorrow but I'm fine with whatever result I get :)


French onion soup with sourdough bread and butter

Weekly weigh in - Phew...half pound loss!

I wasn't looking forward to weigh in today; I made a birthday cake for my nephew last week and for the first time since joining Slimming World last August, I was out of control and couldn't stop eating the cake cut offs and the frosting.
I'd also had some treats the day before and I just felt like I was going to gain loads!

I did get back on track for the rest of the week but that feeling niggled away at me and wouldn't leave.
I've started listening to my Slimpod every night again because I don't think I was ready to only listen occasionally and I definitely benefit from it when I listen to it daily.

So, a half pound loss was very much welcomed and I'm geared up to have a better week and a better weigh in next week!
Well, as long as my weekend away at a Premier Inn with Ant doesn't prove too much of a problem!
