Weekly weigh in - 1.5lb gain

I was going to start off by saying I have no idea where the gain came from because initially I didn't but I've just looked back over my food diary and last Wednesday I had a day off and didn't count the syns.
I've just added them up and I had at least 80 syns that day!
When I added up all the syns for the week it worked out that I've had over 20 syns more this week than normal so that'll be where the 1.5lb gain from then!

It's still annoying because I've been on Success Express all week and in my head it feels like I've been extra good so getting a gain doesn't feel fair but now I know where it's come from, I can get my head round it and move on.

I've got 5lb to lose for my next award and this week I'm going back to Extra Easy. I'm going to relax and stop stressing about it :)

I'm not having any more 'off plan/treat days' because since I started my weight loss hasn't been as good and to be honest, I don't need a treat day. If I want treats I'll work them into the plan.

  1. I think possibly an off diet/treat day does encourage extra naughtiness that you might not do if you work treats into your diet plan. I had a gain this week too, so back to being good is a must. Good luck next week, lets hope we can both shift our gains xx

  3. Interesting. I have always thought a day or at least one meal of eating anything helps weight loss in the long run.
    Holidays seem to have knocked most of us a bit.
    Overall you are doing great and that is what matters.
