Weekly Weigh In - Back to losing!

3lb gone from the 5.5lb I put on over Christmas so I'm happy again today! Hopefully next week will see the rest of the gain gone and I can get back to working my down those numbers!

My Wii personal trainer arrived yesterday. I eagerly put it in, set up my profile, picked my warm up routine then collapsed in a heap on the sofa after just 5 minutes! I'm sure I'll get better, it's just going to take some time!
I'm not sure about having the camera pointing at you during the workout though....I think I like it better being blissfully unaware of what I actually look like when I'm exercising and it's made me even more determined not to let people see me doing the routine!

  3. Sounds about the same as me, the difference being I was a couple of pounds under what I want to be before Christmas, so I'm happy where I am now.

    Gemma, my wife, joined Slimming World almost exactly a year ago, and has lost just over 6st since. She's hoping to reach target some time in the middle of the year.

    I didn't go to meetings, but joined her for the ride and lost 4 stone. It was actually a struggle to stop losing, when I got to a weight I was happy with, but that's a nice problem to have.

    She's also blogging about her diet, at I know it's something that's kept her motivated, and I guess you'll be finding the same.

  4. I think most people put on after Christmas, most people I know have gained half a stone (including myself). You did well to only gain 5.5 and its fab that its just about all come off again so you can keep going on your longer term goal. xx

  5. Yay, great to see you're back to losing - that's not too bad for Christmas and it's the only gain you've had so don't worry about it, you're doing fabulously well :) I tried out a fitness DVD too yesterday - just have to work it into my weekly routine now ! :)
