Weekly weigh in - Half a pound again

After going back to basics and sticking to green and original days strictly all week I was disappointed  to only lose a half again this week.
It seems that the 4 and a half stone award is playing games with me!

I think it can only be 1 of 2 things; either the treat day on a Wednesday I've been having isn't working or my body is still reacting to the body magic I started doing. I'm on my 3rd week of the bronze body magic challenge and it's the 3rd week I've stayed the same or lost only a half.

Some people are able to indulge on weigh in days and when I started the treat days and still lost weight for the first 2 weeks, I thought I was one of them.
After staying the same the next week and only losing a half the past 2 weeks I reckon it's not working anymore.

This week I'm not having a treat day, I got totally back on plan after group this morning and I'm having an extra easy day.
Tomorrow I'm going to try an original day again and I'm going to continue planning each day in advance.

If stopping the treat day doesn't help at next week's weigh in then I can only put it down to the body magic and I have to have faith in the plan that as my body gets used to the exercise the losses will start to show again.

When we set our personal target for the following week my consultant asked if I was going to go for the 1.5lb I needed for the next award which I normally would have done but I said that this week I'm just going for a loss because I think I'm focusing too much on the award and letting it disappoint me every week when I don't get it. I have to focus on the fact that I've lost weight again this week and a loss is a loss, no matter how much that loss is :)

  2. hi shell i read your blog every night and with your half pound loss i think thats good at least its a loss . i see that your having 19 syns aday why dont you try cutting these down to 10 to 15 syns an d see if this works for you too . it might also be the body magic and your building muscle which is a good thing as your metabolisam gets better and burns the cals more . keep with it im sure it will come off x by the way i have started to blog myself if u want to support me be great any comments good or bad its thanks x

  3. I've had a good couple of weeks just maintaining and not losing anything, I'm sure us women just have "odd" times where no matter what we do we don't shift weight. Half a pound is still a loss, still a half pound in the right direction xx

  4. Wow Shell, just found your blog and you are truly inspiring. Don't worry if you've had a slow couple of weeks. You've done so well.
    I'm convinced the reason I've failed in the past is because I've given up, out of frustration that I've not lost as much as I wanted to. If I'd just kept going, I would have reached my target years ago.
    Turning 40 at the beginning of June, and while I probably won't be the healthy size I want to be, I know I'm going to get there by Christmas.
