Weekly weigh in - 5.5 stone award :)

I did it!

I lost 1.5lb this week. I was expecting more after the amount of gardening I've done this week but I'm happy with the loss.
I've still got loads more gardening to do in the coming week and I'm finding the physical work a lot easier than I would have done a few months ago!
I'm actually enjoying it rather than suffering my way through it like I did when we did our garden a couple of years ago.
If it wasn't for the blisters on my palms I'd have got a lot more done today than I did!

I only have 6lb to go now till my next award then a couple of pounds after that will see me go into the next stone down :)

I'm going to set an interim target next week of 23 stone. When I hit that it'll mean I can use the Wii fit board. It's been one of my goals since joining because it'll be great when I can set up a daily exercise routine on the Wii :)

  4. hi, I have been following your diary with awe, i am trying to build up enough courage to join a sw group near us and your story and progress is giving me so much encouragement. You are doing so so well and I love to log on and see how you have done.
    well done and keep it up, I am sure that you feel so much better with each week that passes.

    1. Thank you, I really am feeling loads better and have so much more energy.
      I know walking through that door for the first time takes a huge amount of courage, especially if you're own but doing it was the best thing I've ever done. Everyone made me feel very welcome. Don't get me wrong, it was still hard to do but it wasn't long before I started looking forward to going every week and I've made some lovely new friends :)
