Weekly Weigh In - Lost 4lb #WobblesWednesday

Yay!! I've moved into the next stone category and only have 2.5lb to lose till my 4 and a half stone award :D
Also, I won Slimmer Of The Week :D

I'm afraid I can't take all the credit for the 4lb loss this week though; I've been ill since Saturday and it's taking all the energy I have to get rid of the illness.
I started with a sore throat  and rapidly went down from there. Ant had started with it a day or so earlier and we were both really ill over the weekend.

I didn't have any appetite and couldn't taste anything due to a blocked nose so it felt pointless to eat. I knew from experience though that I needed to eat to lose weight so I made sure I had at least 2 meals a day.
I've been having blackcurrant lemsips to soothe my throat and plenty of Ibuprofen to try and stop the aching bones.

I think I'm over the worst of it now; my head isn't as heavy and stuffy but my chest is still tight and my voice keeps going. Hopefully I'll be back to walking the girls to school soon :)

I haven't been listening to my Slimpod recently and I've decided I need to start again because I've noticed that my portion sizes have been creeping up and I've been eating till I'm stuffed and not just satisfied.
I've noticed that parts of it is still working without me having to think about it though, for example, I went to the fridge looking for something to eat but before I picked something, a thought popped into my head that I wasn't hungry, I was bored. I closed the fridge and found something else to do.
It definitely helps keep my eating under control and with both the Slimpod and Slimming World, I know I'm going to get to my goal this time :)

    1. Thank you Kate :) I'm happy to say I do feel a bit better tonight and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a more restful nights sleep than I've had recently!

    1. I'm really going to need it in the run up to Easter, I don't want to put any on like I did at Christmas when I couldn't resist the chocolate!
